Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had rooms that were much smaller than expected, not as advertised in the pictures, and no bath as shown. However, the rooms had a comfy bed with nice linen and towels. They were nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the showers were great. The evening meal was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a cottagey feel with a large bathroom featuring a big walk-in shower.
The hotel rooms were to a very high spec, clean, and comfortable, but smaller than expected. The service was friendly and attentive, especially Peter the manager. The location was in a lovely village setting. The dining experience had limited breakfast options. Overall, the hotel offers quality comfort and service with some room for improvement in the dining area.
I felt like I was in the sticks but still close enough to good shopping and restaurants. The beds were of excellent quality with luxurious linens, and the bathroom was gorgeous with double sinks and luxurious toiletries. However, the cleanliness was a bit lacking, and the rooms had a stuffy smell. The bedding was comfortable, and the rain showers were a nice touch.
